L-arginine
L-arginine is a natural amino acid that is found in meat. When L-arginine is supplemented it increases nitric oxide and can increase vascularity when it increases blood flow through out the body as well as give you a relaxed feeling. This amino acid is typically used for high blood pressure.

L-arginine facts
L-arginine is great for pre-workout it's the supplement that is in every pre-workout. This is what get's you those big vascular veins to pop out and gives you the pump you want! I usually use 3-5 grams several times a day, but don't go over 10 grams. Also don't mix with other amino acids because it may compete with other amino acids. Here is a list of facts L-arginine is good for!
Health Benefits of L-Arginine in Human Nutrition

the basics of L-Arginine
is
an important amino acid for releasing nitric
oxide into the bloodstream, improve the
health of the circulatory system and heart,
release growth hormone, promote relaxation,
and keep blood pressure normal. L-Arginne is in almost all of your pre-workout drinks, which is what gives you the "pump" you feel during or after your workout. I typically buy the amino-acid seperate from the pre-workouts because it's way cheaper and you usually don't know what else is in the pre-workout drinks.
